Edward Coley Burne-Jones and William Morris

One of the "second wave" of Preraphaelites, Sir Edward Burne-Jones was a principal in the firm of Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Co. Many of his designs appeared in different media: stained glass, tile, painting, and illustrations for Kelmscott Press.

Frank Cadogan Cowper and Valentine Prinsep

Sometimes called 'The Last Preraphaelite', Frank Cadogan Cowper was born in 1877, when the second wave preraphaelites (the Aesthetic movement) were becoming popular. Working in both in oils and watercolors, Cowper was also a book illustrator with contemporaries Dicksee and Arthur Rackham. Cowper's illustrations were also included an edition of Shakespeare along with works by Sir Frank Dicksee and Arthur Rackham.

Evelyn De Morgan

Evelyn De Morgan, wife of ceramic artist William De Morgan who eventually took over the design and production of ceramics for Morris & Co., was one of the "later preraphaelites". Jane Morris, a personal friend, was among the models for her paintings.
